Our website and intranet are key communications tools for reaching our clients, stakeholders and staff.
As Web Officer you will be responsible for the continuing development and maintenance of Audit Scotland’s online presence. You will help ensure that we keep abreast of technological developments, that our sites operate effectively, and look professional and modern.
You will need a variety of web skills and be comfortable working with both Macs and PCs and you will bring demonstrable experience within a similar role. Design and layout skills for print would also be an advantage. As you will be liaising closely with a wide range of internal and external customers, you’ll need excellent communication skills and an interest in Audit Scotland’s work.

IT Support Role with Robertson Technologies

Robertson Technologies provides computer support in plain English to clients across the Central Belt of Scotland from their office in Edinburgh.
They require an experienced, customer-focused IT Support Technician to join their team to assist in supporting their growing client base of small/medium sized businesses. Once you understand the business, there is the potential to move into a Team Leader role.
To fit with the team, you will be an excellent communicator, have fantastic problem-solving skills and be extremely well organised. You will be experienced in performing the following tasks:
- Configuring and maintaining Windows Server 2003 products
- Maintaining Windows desktops on and off domains
- Maintaining Exchange servers
- Troubleshooting Exchange problems
- Helping customers over the telephone
- Explaining technical jargon in plain English
In addition, you should:
- have your own car (you will be working from our office in Edinburgh, but the majority of your time will be spent onsite with clients, mostly in the central belt)
- ideally have a Microsoft qualification (eg, MSCE, MCSA)
- have experience of organising yourself and others
- have experience of working as part of a team
If you have knowledge of Apple Macs and/or Linux, you will have an advantage over other candidates.
Salary and Hours
- Salary: £21-23k, depending on experience.
- 37.5 hours per week. Normal working hours are 0900 to 1730 Monday to Friday.
- Annual Holiday: 28 days
